Lá Fhéile Pádraig from all at The Oliver Plunkett!
There is no denying that St Patrick’s Day is always a day to remember (or not depending on how many pints you think you can handle 😉) and this year is going to be no different!
The Oliver Plunkett will have craic agus ceoil in abundance from Friday March 15th straight through until Monday March 18th, so there’s no excuse not to make a long weekend of it. With bands such as Acoustra, Clann Eireann, Hell for Leather, Kesh and many more, we’ll have some of the best in local talent playing a selection of upbeat Irish music throughout each day.
Take a look at our website for the full music lineup.
To add to the excitement, On Saturday 16th March Ireland will be taking on Wales in their final Six Nations match of 2019. We didn’t get off to a great start to the tournament but here’s hoping that the boys in green pick themselves up and get back to their usual winning selves
We hope to see you all throughout the weekend to enjoy some of the finest points of being Irish…. Shur a few years ago, the Lord of the Dance himself, Michael Flatley, joined us to celebrate our patron saint’s day with a seisiún in The Frisky Whiskey Bar. If it’s good enough for Michael….. 😊
