Lá Fhéile Pádraig from all at The Oliver Plunkett!
Fri Mar 16 @ 06:00PM
There is no denying that St Patrick’s Day is always a day to remember (or not depending on how many pints you think you can handle 😉) and this year is going to be no different!
The Oliver Plunkett will have craic agus ceoil in abundance from Friday March 16th straight through until Monday March 19th, so there’s no excuse not to make a long weekend of it. With bands such as The Celtic Knights, Clann Eireann, Hell for Leather, Kesh and many more, we’ll have some of the best in local talent playing a selection of upbeat Irish music throughout each day.
Take a look at our website for the full music lineup. http://www.theoliverplunkett.com/live-music/
To add to the excitement, this year Ireland will be taking on England in their final Six Nations match on March 17th at 14:45. With 4 wins already under our belts, we’ll be hoping for victory in the final two matches which will ensure an absolutely electric atmosphere on March 17th!
We hope to see you all throughout the weekend to enjoy some of the finest points of being Irish…. Shur a few years ago, the Lord of the Dance himself, Michael Flatley, joined us to celebrate our patron saint’s day with a seisiún in The Frisky Whiskey Bar. If it’s good enough for Michael….. 😊
